The fundamental object of the British Bottlers' Institute is to provide a forum for those concerned with the bottling, canning and packaging of beverages and other products, enabling them to pool their experience and to discuss the important issues relating to plant, equipment, containers, closures, labels and ancillary subjects affecting such products. Specifically the Institute aims on a non-profit making professional basis to sponsor and organise competitions, conferences, seminars, meetings, visits and other activities to further the aims of the Institute.

Details of all forthcoming events are displayed on this BBI website and there is an opportunity to register for any event by mailing through the website. The website also contains a member's news page where reports of events already undertaken are available, and, where common information may be shared amongst all members. A member's directory is published with a profile of each corporate member and should any member wish to make contact with another corporate member there is a facility for direct mailing. Members may also view the latest BBI news as well as publish their own successes and developments within their Organisation. Just sign in and go!
